We are delighted to announce the signing of Portugese prospect Joao Silva!

To supplement this we are also bringing in some of the best young talent around, who can also benefit from this process and who can become part of the Farsley DNA and take that with them into matches both for us and in their future careers”

“The first of these exciting young talents to join Farsley is Joao Silva. He is a hugely exciting and talented young player, with a lot of potential to develop further with us. He is aware of the task in hand and the levels expected of him in terms of both performance and professionalism. It’s a great opportunity to give Joao the exposure to this environment to allow him to experience it, and to see his confidence growing!

“Joao has amazing potential he’s one of the most gifted players I’ve ever seen outside of the academy system for his age group. To describe him, I would say the things he can do are very difficult to learn and execute and the things he needs to improve are easy to learn.

“He is also a really nice young man, and having met some of his family I very much look forwards to seeing them in and around the club.”
