A hat-trick from Tom Carr and fourth from Dubem Eze saw David Stockdale’s inexperienced side fall to defeat.
The hosts were on the front-foot from the off and Will Brook was called into action in the second minute when he produced a brilliant reflex save to keep out Mike Calveley’s effort.
However an error from the on-loan Nottingham Forest goalkeeper a minute later saw him fail to punch the ball clear from the resulting corner, allowing Carr to turn the ball home from close range.

Despite the setback, Brook stepped up and made several more key saves, first denying Carr from the edge of the area before a quick double-block keeping out efforts from Carr and Mike Ellis on the 25th minute.
One of Farsley’s brightest chances of the game came a minute later when Manny Mampala dragged a shot just wide of the post.
Within the next 60 seconds, Chorley fashioned another couple of opportunities with first Ellis firing into the side netting before Kole Hall fired just wide after beating two defenders.
However, Chorley did double their lead on the 39 minute mark when the ever-dangerous Carr was played in on goal before keeping his composure to slot past Brook to send the hosts into the break 2-0 ahead.
The forward then completed his hat-trick five minutes after the break as he finished his third of the night from close-range.
Chorley then bagged their fourth and final goal of the evening five minutes later as Eze tunred the ball home from just inside the box on the half-volley.
Carr could’ve netted his fourth just after the hour mark, had it not been for Brook bravely diving at the striker’s feet to snatch away an almost certain goal as he bared down on goal.

Despite falling so far behind, the Celts remained spirited and on 65 minutes a good spell of passing saw Thomas Priestley-Standing’s shot from the edge of the box saved by Matt Urwin.
Then on 77 minutes, Mampala’s ambitious free kick from distance looked to be creeping in under the crossbar but Urwin had his wits about him to turn the ball behind for a corner.
Mampala was looking like Farsley’s most likely route to a goal back as he let fly with another rasping shot from distance on 82 minutes but again he was denied by Urwin who tipped the ball over the bar.
Despite the heavy defeat, Farsley actually moved up a place in the table to 23rd place, due to Rushall Olympic’s heavy 6-1 defeat to Brackley Town.
The Celts are back in action on Sunday when they entertain sixth placed Kidderminster Harriers at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium in Buxton.
Farsley Celtic: Brook, Bumhira, Sheridan, Janneh (Newsome 64), Hyde, Priestley-Standing, Kondolo (Krubally 64), Silva (Monteiro 81), Ameho (Iwobi 64), Edmondson (Morrisey 46), Mampala.
