The club is excited to announce the following additions to the Farsley Celtic first team backroom staff!

Firstly, Andy Middleton joins us from the Farsley Celtic Elite Development Squad, where he is the lead goalkeeper coach.

Andy began his football journey with Stockport County before moving to Huddersfield Town. After being released, he turned to coaching, earning his UEFA coaching badges in both outfield and goalkeeping, along with FA Youth Modules.

With experience at professional clubs, semi-pro teams, and private academies, Andy has built a strong reputation for developing goalkeepers at all levels, from grassroots to professional. He also runs his own goalkeeping clinics and has established valuable connections across the football world.

Andy is excited to work alongside Pav, the coaching support team, and the first-team and ETS goalkeepers.

Omed Gardezi is an aspiring physiotherapist currently pursuing a BSc in Sports and Exercise Therapy. With a background in elite football at Bradford City, where he played from childhood through a full-time scholarship, Omed has developed a passion for personal development and teamwork.

His practical experience includes placements as an Assistant Physiotherapist with Bradford City U18s, First Team Sports Therapist roles at Liversedge FC and Albion Sports, and soft tissue treatment with the Huddersfield Giants First Team.

He holds several qualifications, including The FA Level 3 Emergency Medical First Aid in Football (EMFAIF), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisations (IASTM), Hijama Cupping Therapy, The FA Level 2 Coaching Badge, and an NVQ Diploma in Sporting Excellence.

A member of Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football, Omed is also First Aid certified. Dedicated to helping athletes and communities maintain active and healthy lifestyles, he combines hands-on experience with a strong academic foundation to achieve his goals.
