Biography

Young forward Joao Silva signed for the club last summer, from NCEL side Eccleshill
United, having initially played youth football in his homeland of Portugal.

Joao had a loan spell with Ossett United last season, and at the end of the campaign earned an
international call-up for Sao Tome and Principe. He featured in the African island
nation’s World Cup Qualifiers against Malawi and Liberia.
