The Celts have one of the best away records in the league and were only denied a fifth away win of the season on Tuesday by a 95th-minute equaliser at Warrington Town.
Head coach Clayton Donaldson said that despite the last-gasp goal, it was still a ‘good point on the road’ and that The Celts could approach Alfreton with confidence.
Speaking after the match, he said: “We seem to be doing a lot better away than we do at home at the moment.
“We go into the Alfreton game with a positive mindset to get three points and there is no reason why we can’t. Last Saturday’s result [a 4-1 defeat to Brackley Town] was a one off, they caught us cold.
“The reaction I was looking for from the players on Tuesday was there and we go into the Alfreton game now with a lot more confidence and belief that we can get the three points.”

The Celts have long-term injury concerns in defence. 20-year-old defender Jack Leckie, who is with the Celts on a season-long loan from Hull, is out until December and Lewis Turner recently underwent surgery to try remedy his long-term injury problems.
Clayton Donaldson will assess other knocks and injuries ahead of the game, but the Celts have been boosted by five new loan signings in the past seven days and director of football Pav Singh is confident the Celts have enough depth and quality as they enter a hectic period of games in the run up to Christmas.
How are Alfreton faring?
Alfreton Town occupy the final play-off spot and, after three defeats in August, have only lost once in their last ten league and cup games.
They go into the Farsley game having beaten Hereford United 3-1 in their last match and they have a forthcoming FA Cup first round tie at home to Worthing on the horizon.

Alfreton edged a game of few chances the last time the Celts travelled to the Impact Arena back in January. Dominic Wiley’s strike seven minutes’ from time was the difference after he met Danny Preston’s free kick with a well-hit volley, giving Max Dearnley in the Farsley goal no chance.
