Farsley Celtic are delighted to confirm the appointment of Pav Singh to the Board as the Director of Football Operations.
Pav is a familiar face at the club as an ex-player, starting off in the development section before progressing to the First Team, whilst more recently he re-joined the club as Joint Head of Development.
The change in role sees Pav join the Farsley Celtic Board, dedicating his focus purely on developing the footballing project here at Farsley.
His main initial task will be to take responsibility for all things football at the club, working with stakeholders, players and coaches both on and off the field, working on the talent pathways across all sections of the club.
He will also lead on creating a footballing DNA, which the whole club can grow from.
Chairman Paul Barthorpe said: “Since joining the club Pav has impressed everyone with not only his footballing knowledge, contacts within the game and his ability to convey messages and high-quality coaching sessions, but also by his drive, personality and passion for the club and its ongoing success.
“An experienced UEFA A coach and coach developer, Pav has managed and coached in the semi-pro game with the likes of Liversedge and Albion Sports, and has also developed many players through his coaching at professional academies such as Leeds United and Bradford City.
“Pav is employed full-time with the FA as a Regional Coach Developer and brings with him a huge wealth of abilities in terms of coaching methodologies, the latest techniques, tactics and visions for our footballing future.
“I believe we have someone in Pav who can take the club forwards on so many different levels across the board. It is a pleasure to welcome him into his new role and I am genuinely thrilled to be working alongside him!”
