An update from the chairman on the continued success of Farsley Celtic Deaf!

The good news just keeps on coming!

We have some very exciting pieces of news from our deaf team too!

Firstly, a massive congratulations to our all conquering deaf team! Who have become the EDF Challenge Cup Champions for the second year in a row after defeating Radcliffe FC 10-0 in the final!

That’s two out of two cup final wins so far for the deaf guys, who of course famously finished third in the champions league this summer and won their domestics leagues too!

This Sunday we face St John’s DFC, a club steeped in historic achievements in Deaf football, in the final of the EDF knockout cup!

You can watch it live on TNT sports this Sunday from 1pm!

And to top off another fantastic season from our deaf guys, we are pleased to announce that two of our top talents from the deaf section will be joining our men’s first team for pre-season training!

Cavell Donaldson, our central midfield general, who has been in the England set up for the last four years and played in both the 2023 deaf World Cup and the 2024 deaf European Championships, will be training with our first team. Alongside ten-cap England goalkeeper Sam Edwards who also represented England in the World Cup and the Euros!

We wish you both the best to luck guys!!!
