Young Bradford City defender Noah Wadsworth has extended his loan stay at the Citadel for a further month.

Noah has made three starts and a couple of substitute appearances for the Celts in the past month and scored The Celts’ opener at Banbury United on Saturday.

Farsley Celtic Director of Football Pav Singh welcomed the news. He said: “Noah has settled in well and we are delighted to keep him for another month. We are giving him game time and supporting his development. The loan move works for all parties.

“We’re also pleased to be maintaining our good relationship with Bradford City Football Club.”

Gaffer Clayton Donaldson added: “Noah has settled in really well and we all like him. As we saw against Banbury on Saturday, he can get up and down the pitch. I thought he was outstanding, to be honest. I like my full backs to push high and Noah did that really well, and the goal was a reward for his efforts.

“He’s fitted in well with the lads and listens to what we say to him. I’m delighted he will be with us for another month.”

Noah will be aiming for another start when The Celts travel to Tadcaster Albion in the West Riding County Cup tomorrow evening.
