Farsley Celtic will travel to North Yorkshire on Tuesday evening to face Scarborough Athletic in a replay of Saturday’s FA Cup clash with the winner set to face Darlington away.
The two sides played out an entertaining 1-1 draw at The Citadel on Saturday afternoon with Ben Atkinson’s first half penalty being cancelled out by Alex Brown’s second half equaliser, setting up Tuesday evening’s encounter.
Both sides will be fighting for the chance to travel to fellow National League North side Darlington on Saturday 30 September in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup which is one round before the entry of National League sides into the competition.
Clayton Donaldson will have been pleased by his side’s performance, especially in the first half where Farsley created the majority of the chances, and were unfortunate to not have been leading by more going into the break, where afterwards the Seadogs began to assert themselves more into the match.
Celts fans will have fond memories of our last trip to the Flamingo Land Stadium, where Farsley ran out 2-1 victors in the Yorkshire Derby, and so they will be hoping for a repeat of that result tomorrow evening.
Supporters are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance and can do so by clicking HERE.
Pay on the gate is available, and Farsley supporters have been allocated the Section D open standing terrace with entry available through the North turnstiles.
Segregation is in place at the Flamingo Land Stadium.
