Farsley Celtic will be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend as Hereford make the long trip North to the Citadel.

It represents another vital game for the Celts, who know their home form has to be the bedrock of their fight for survival.

Russ Wilcox’s side are without a win on the road in the league since October 8, but have proven to be difficult to beat at the Citadel, remaining without a defeat at home since November 22.

And it is important that Farsley react to their 5-2 defeat last time out at Curzon Ashton.

It has been less than a month since the Celts last faced Hereford, losing 2-0 on what was a difficult evening at Edgar Street.

However, the Bulls have won just once since then, and head into this game following back-to-back defeats at the hands of Banbury United and Spennymoor Town.

It’s a season that could still go either way for Josh Gowling’s side, who sit eight points off the play-off places and eight points clear of the relegation zone, and the Bulls know that they must start finding results soon if they are to reach the top seven.

TEAM NEWS

Russ Wilcox will have a full squad to select from, with Isaac Assenso’s red card in the West Riding County Cup not impacting league games.
