Friday saw Irish side Maree Oranmore FC bring a development side to Farsley, as they engaged in training sessions and showcase matches against two of our own development sides.

Head of Development Eray Altinoluk and Under 14s Boys coach Brian Robinson organised the day, with a coaching session led by Director of Football Operations Pav Singh in the morning, followed by matches against Farsley Celtic Under 14s Blues and Under 15s Whites.

Eray Altinoluk commented: “It was great to welcome Maree Oranmore from Ireland on Friday, which was a thoroughly enjoyable day for both their and our players.

“We created great friends once again, and credit must go to Brian for making this happen, his efforts are appreciated by all.

“Thank you must also go to Pav for delivering an excellent session for their talented players and coaches in the morning, and the afternoon was a great spectacle with some exciting talent on show.

“We hope we can make the return visit one day in the near future!”
