Farsley Celtic are delighted to announce the signing of Bobby Pointon on loan from Bradford City.

The 18-year-old left-footed attacker is the Bantams’ current Academy Player of the Year, and signed his first professional contract in July.

Pointon has spent the early stages of the season on loan at Northern Premier League Division One East side Brighouse Town, where he has scored three goals in four appearances.

The youngster was also named Town’s Player of the Month for August.

He now joins the Celts for the next two months, and is available for Saturday’s trip to Hereford.
