Halifax born midfielder, Chris Atkinson, started his career with Huddersfield Town, having been with the Academy since he was seven years of age.
He made his first team debut in the FA Cup win over Macclesfield Town in November 2010 and was loaned out several times before signing ‘permanently’ for Crewe Alexandra in 2014. Chris made 37 first team appearances for the Gresty Road side over the next two seasons and made the move to Moor Lane in October 2016 joining Salford City.
He first signed for Farsley on loan from Salford at the end of January 2017. Chris has proven himself as an integral part of the squad over the past five and a half seasons, being a near-even present in the team during that time.
