In new manager David Stockdale’s first game in charge of the Celts, a youthful Celts side suffered defeat in Warwickshire.

A first half brace from Ewan Williams followed by a second half finish from Henry Landers saw the hosts ease to victory at the Windmill Ground.

Stockdale was without the likes of Sam Fielding, Rudy Misambo and Robbie Fox, with the latter having recently signed for Silsden AFC, and his side were 1-0 down within six minutes as Williams struck the opener.

Will Brook produced a number of fine saves to keep Farsley just one behind but Williams fired in his and Leamington’s second as the hosts pressed home their domination.

The Celts looked more solid in the second half, reducing the number of opportunities for Leamington but The Brakes rubber-stamped victory as Landers added a third on 77 minutes.
