We are sad to announce the departure of club legend, club captain and record appearance maker Chris Atkinson from the club.

Chris signed on for the Celts back in 2017 and has been an ever present since. Sadly, last season was curtailed by injury and in signing new terms last summer it was hoped that Chris would soon recover and be back on the pitch. Sadly this hasn’t happened, and in the meantime he has stepped up fantastically to support Pav Singh on the management team.

Chris will hopefully be returning to full fitness in the next few weeks, and we wish Chris all the very best in his future whether that’s on the pitch or off it! Chris is truly a Farsley legend.
