Thomas Priestley-Standing and Will Morrissey have officially been promoted to the first team!

It’s exciting news for Will Morrissey and Tom Standing as they both sign terms with the first team. Their impressive performances in the Emerging Talent Squad, alongside Will’s impact at Thackley under Danny Forrest, have earned them this opportunity.

The pair will now train regularly with the first team, gaining valuable senior experience. They’ve also been given squad numbers, marking a significant step in their development.

ETS lead Luke Dean is thrilled about the development, noting that Pav Singh sees their potential and works with them, alongside Luke and the ETS scholars, on a daily basis to ensure they are ready for the next level.

It’s clear that both players are un-phased and eager to take on this challenge, which will give them even more contact time with Pav and the first team squad. It’s a bright future ahead the connection between the pathway is relentless, and we are one club.

Over the last weeks a large number of ETS lads have been across the first team and they come back buzzing and love the challenge.

Tom will take the number 27 shirt, whilst Will will sport the number 28 shirt.
