We are delighted to announce the following updates regarding the future of our young stars!

And like buses two come along at once! 🤷🏻‍♂️ what can I say, busy times!

Firstly I’d like to warmly welcome the return of former Farsley player Kevin Sanasy to the club! Kevin has come on board to lead our U16 Talent ID group, who are the cream of the talent at the club in that age group!

Pav Singh, Director of football stated: “I’ve known Kevy since he was ten years old, and have witnessed his journey into becoming a professional footballer. His experience, energy and leadership/role model qualities will be invaluable in shaping the Farsley players of the future!

“Kevy’s integration into Luke and Clifton’s has been seamless, and we are excited to continue to build and strengthen our back room and coaching workforce.”

We are also delighted to announce the permanent signing of exciting young midfield prospect Cole Hyde!

18-year-old Cole has been with us during pre-season and has impressed all at the club with his ability, maturity and skill. Despite his tender age, during his appearances for the club he had made a significant impact on the games he was involved in.

Pav commented: “Cole is one of the brightest young talents we have seen in some time and we are delighted to have got this one over the line, and I very much look forward to seeing him developing in a Farsley shirt!”

Due to an injury sustained in our last match to Tom Wooster, we have acted quickly to sign Darryl Ombang on a short term loan deal from Leeds United. Darryl has represented England at youth level and has recently signed a long term new deal at Leeds, and goes straight into our matchday squad for tomorrow’s game at Scarborough!

As part of our commitment to developing youth at the club, and continuing to build a bright future from within, we have sent out two of our top young emerging talent squad talents out on loan. Will Morrisey has been sent out to gain valuable first team experience with Thackley, and our talented young goalkeeper Liam Wilson will continue to gain first team experience with Selby Town. We wish them both the best of luck on their loans, and we look forward to monitoring their continued growth and development!

It’s been another busy week at the club, and we believe that with these fantastic additions and developments both on and off the field our future is looking brighter than ever!
