We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Danny Greenfield!

The 23-year-old joins the Celts after a most recent spell at fellow National League North side Spennymoor Town where he arrived at The Brewery Field in the summer of 2022.

Danny enjoyed a strong campaign during the 2023/24 season, playing in 42 matches in the NLN for Spennymoor, scoring on five occasions as The Moors finished just outside of the playoffs in ninth.

Overall, Danny has a vast amount of experience at this level with 103 appearances in the NLN with nine goals.

After playing for Barnsley U18s, Danny moved to the North East in 2019 to join Gateshead. After a loan spell at Matlock Town, he then made the move to Spennymoor in 2022, enjoying a short loan spell at Scarborough Athletic before returning to his parent club.
