All the best to Jordan Carroll, as the Irishman leaves the club by mutual consent.

Jordan had the option for another season activated from his contract, but following his return home to Ireland, decided that moving back to England alone again was not what he desired.

Arriving from Welsh side Flint Town at the start of the 2023/24 season, Jordan made 30 appearances in all competitions, including nine starts, scoring two goals as the Celts finished 20th in the National League North.

His first goal coming in a 2-2 draw against Tamworth at The Citadel where his well-hit strike from the edge of the area found the bottom right corner, whereas his second came in a 4-2 defeat to Radcliffe in the FA Trophy where he slid in at the back post to grab a goal back.

Jordan leaves with our very best wishes for the future, and our appreciation for his time with the club.

Speaking on his spell at Farsley, Jordan said: “To the fans and everyone connected to the club I would just like to thank you all for your support and dedication throughout last season.

“I was made to feel very much a part of the club, and the warm welcome you gave me didn’t go unnoticed.

“I wish the club nothing but the best for the future and will be keeping an eye out for the club’s results going forwards. Thank you.”
