Farsley Celtic’s ETS side climbed to the top of the league earlier today with a fine 2-1 win against Gateshead.
Goals from Ebenezer Ameho and Tom Priestley-Standing gave the unbeaten lads their fifth win of the season.
ETS lead coach Luke Dean said: “It was a great team performance and positive reaction after the FA Youth Cup defeat at Stockport last week.
“The lads showed true spirit and togetherness to a very well-organised and physical Gateshead team.”
Three players – Liam Wilson, Bubba Krubally and Tyler Polworth – will be in the first team squad for the FA Trophy game against Radcliffe FC tomorrow afternoon.
ETS lads Bubba, Tyler and Ebenezer have spent the week training with Bradford City Academy in a bid to broaden their experience.
Director of football Pav Singh said: “This has been an extra reward due to their performances and attitude. Giving them the opportunity and exposure at Bradford City Academy this week has added to their learning.”
