Farsley Celtic are delighted to announce the signing of Danny Devine on loan from Chester until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old midfielder joined the Seals in the summer, after departing League Two outfit Carlisle United.

Devine came through the ranks at Bradford City, making 53 senior appearances for the Bantams between 2016 and 2020, before he spent two years at Brunton Park, where he made 35 appearances.

The Bradford-born man has already played at the Citadel this season, starting for Chester, against the Celts, in our FA Trophy penalty shootout victory back in December.

He now links up with Russ Wilcox’s side for the remainder of the 2022/23 season, and is available for this evening’s trip to Scarborough.
