Farsley Celtic Women have been drawn away to Wortley FC Ladies in the quarter-finals of the WRCWFL League Cup.
The Celts reached this stage of the competition after defeating Amaranth Crossgates (16-0), Athletico (9-6) and Hepworth United (6-0), whilst Wortley have progressed with victories over Farsley Celtic Juniors Reserves (2-0) and Bradford City Women’s U21s (5-3).
Like Farsley, Wortley also play in Division Three, but it is Jamie Sykes’ side who got the better of their meeting in the league earlier this season, winning 6-4 back in September.
The Celt Army were scheduled to host Wortley in the return league fixture yesterday, however, the game was postponed due to the freezing conditions.
The quarter-final ties are scheduled for Sunday 5th March.
