Farsley Celtic Women are back in league action this Sunday as they host Huddersfield Amateur Reserves at the Citadel.
Farsley will look to make their game in hand count and extend their lead at the top of the league when they play Huddersfield Amateur Reserves on Sunday.
A win would extend Farsley’s lead at the top of the table to five points.
Jamie Sykes’ side have been perfect in the league so far winning all of their six league games.
Sykes believes a “strong start” is needed after falling 2-0 down early on before their comeback win in last week’s cup game against Athletico.
“Looking at Huddersfield’s results we should put the game to bed early, but we must start strong and do better,” he said.
Farsley will also be hoping to tighten up their defence, after conceding six goals last time out to Athletico despite dominating them in the league game just the week prior and only conceding once.
“We are definitely looking at how we defend and that’s right from the front.
“I think playing them the week before didn’t help as we went into the game lackadaisical. Going two-nil down after ten minutes forced us onto the back foot.”
Entry for Sunday’s game at the Citadel is FREE.
