The Celts moved up to second place in the EVO-STIK Premier Division table after a 3-1 win against Halesowen Town, with twenty points from their opening ten fixtures.
First-half goals from Ryan Watson and Richard Marshall put Farsley in control of this game by the half-hour mark, an advantage they took into the break. However, the sending-off of Adam Clayton in the second period and a goal from the visitors gave Halesowen hope of salvaging a point. Ten minutes from time though, James Walshaw scored to make it 3-1 and seal the points for the Celts, on an afternoon in which Paul Walker was a constant threat to the Yeltz defence.
A good week for Farsley as they took six points from their two home games at Throstle Nest.
