Celtic ended a run of four successive defeats with a draw away at Harrogate Railway on Easter Monday. Despite dominating the first half of the match Farsley had to settle for a point as Chris Ovington cancelled out Aiden Savory's first half opener.
Farsley started brightly and made the first real chance of the game after quarter of an hour when Lewis Nightingale made some space for a shot at goal. Unfortunately his effort from 15 yards was easily saved by Chandler Hallwood in the Railway goal.
Nightingale then had another good effort ten minutes later after some good play from Ross Daly and Paul Walker in the build up. This time the midfielder fired over the bar.
On 36 minutes Farsley got the opening goal that they deserved. Aiden Savory showed his persistence in the box and fired home from the edge of the six yard box. The striker then had the chance to make it two just before the break when he fired just over the bar, and the Celts went into the break one up.
Farsley let Railway back in the game when a poor back pass from Adam Clayton played in Chris Ovington who leveled for the hosts as he beat Tom Taylor to make it 1-1.
The Celts were dealt a blow when Josh Grant had to be replaced due to injury, with the set back allowing Jimmy Knowles (pictured) to return to the Farsley back four for his second debut for the club following his arrival last week.
Hallwood in the Railway goal did well to deny Savory and Nightingale as the game played out, before Taylor saved well from Railway striker Amar Purwell with eight minutes remaining.
The last chance of the game saw an effort from Savory hit the post following a corner from Jordan Deacey, and the game played out to a draw.
