Biography

Experienced manager Neil Redfearn took on the position of first team manager in January 2025, with former Farsley manager Pav Singh switching to the position of assistant manager.

Neil is well known in Yorkshire football, most notably managing Leeds United during the 2014/15 campaign, having previously held the position in a caretaker role on a number of other occasions, whilst managing the club’s Under-18s and Reserve sides.

The 59-year-old, who managed both Scarborough FC and Northwich Victoria before his spell at Leeds, then went onto manage Doncaster Rovers in the 2015/16 season, and has since held managerial positions in the women’s game with Doncaster Rovers Belles, Liverpool and Sheffield United. He also currently holds the position of professional development phase lead at Bradford City.

The Dewsbury-born midfielder had a long and illustrious playing career which spanned over 25 years and saw him turn out for Bolton Wanderers, Lincoln City, Doncaster Rovers, Crystal Palace, Watford, Oldham Athletic, Barnsley, Charlton Athletic, Bradford City, Wigan Athletic, Halifax Town, Boston United, Rochdale and Scarborough.

He also featured for Bradford Park Avenue, Stockbridge Park Steels and Frickley Athletic on the non-league circuit as he began his coaching career.
